Secondary Return Family Survey 1

introduction

On March 16, the AUSD Student Services Department sent a survey to all secondary families to gauge their level of interest in sending their children back to school for a part-time, in-person instruction program.

Students in the Remote Learning Program will continue to learn remotely this spring. However, the California Department of Public Health requires districts to allow students to continue in distance learning if that is their families' preference. These students will follow the same curricula as their classmates who return to campus for in-person instruction. But they will do asynchronous (independent) work while their peers are attending campus twice weekly for in-person instruction.

More details on the secondary program, as well as the English language survey, is available here. It is due back on Sunday March 21.

Secondary families who express an interest in returning will receive a second survey from their principals later this month. That survey is designed to help the school sites determine their "A" and "B" groups.
