We look forward to meeting you and your child, guiding you through the enrollment process and helping you get ready for your first day.

 

ATTENTION AUSD PARENTS: 

BACK TO SCHOOL DATA CONFIRMATION (FORMERLY BACK TO SCHOOL REGISTRATION) WILL BE OPEN MONDAY JULY 29 THROUGH YOUR AERIES FAMILY PORTAL.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RE-ENROLL YOUR STUDENT IF THEY ATTENDED AND COMPLETED THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR

THE AUSD DISTRICT OFFICE IS CLOSED ON FRIDAY'S IN JULY.  WE WILL RE-OPEN ON FRIDAY AUGUST 2, 2019.

Please follow the steps below to complete enrollment:

ENROLLMENT IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL STEPS 2 & 3 HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED
 
Note: Some AUSD schools are "open enrollment" schools, meaning that students from any neighborhood can apply to them via our "open enrollment" process. Click here to learn more about the process and find the appropriate application forms.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT

  • Residency Requirements
    • Property deed, property tax bill, mortgage statement or current rental agreement (REQUIRED)
    • Utility Bill, within 30 days (Alameda Municipal Power, PG&E or Water/Garbage Only) (REQUIRED)
    • Driver's license (for identification only, not accepted as proof of residency)
    • If Utilities are included in your rent,  you must supply (1) other form of proof of Alameda residence with address imprinted, for example:
      • W-2 form
      • utility document(s) or bill(s)
      • paycheck
      • public assistance documents
  • Proof of Immunizations
  • Birth Certificate, Passport or Baptismal Certificate
  • Grades or Transcripts if available (TK-5 not required, 6-12 helpful but not required

Did you forget a required document during your enrollment appointment? Need to show proof of an immunization or turn in required affidavit documents? Please plan on returning to our office on one of the following dates:
 

July 2019

  • Monday & Wednesday     9-10 am

  • Tuesday & Thursday           3-4 pm   

August 2019  

Monday & Tuesday 10-11 or Wednesday & Thursday 2-3

(This drop in time is for INCOMPLETE enrollments only)

If you cannot make these times, log in to your Appointment-Plus account and cancel your first appointment so that you may make another appointment to complete enrollment.

 

Remember- your student is NOT ENROLLED until all required documents are turned in and the enrollment counselor tells you that the enrollment is complete.

 

2019/2020 ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

 

  • The 1st day of school is August 19, 2019
  • Open Enrollment Applications are closed for the 19/20 school year
    • Please fill our an Intra District transfer request located at the top of the page under "Quick Links"
      • These schools are ASTi, Bay Farm, Encinal, Wood and Maya Lin​​​​​​​
  • If you are coming from a Charter School (AoA, NEA, ACLC)
    • ​​​​​​​Please follow the steps for 19/20 online registration above
