Data Confirmation Guide for Families

1. To begin Data Confirmation, click here to access the Aeries Family Portal. You may use any internet browser you choose, but if you have any issues please try using the Chrome.

 

2. Log into the portal. If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot Password," follow the prompts, and the system will email you a temporary password.

 

 

 

 

 

3. Once you have logged in, you will see a message in yellow that says you have not completed the Student Data Confirmation process.  Confirm your student in the banner and then click on "Click Here" to link to start the process.

Please note: You will need to complete the process each of your students.

Click ‘Change Student’ to move between student accounts. 

 

4. Family Information: You will need to select an option under each category then click "Confirm and Continue" to move to the next step.

5. Student: Most of the information on this page is view only. Click "Change" to submit an address or primary phone number change. (Address changes are not complete until you provide the appropriate paperwork to either our Student Services department or the office staff at your student’s school site.) Click on SAVE. To move on, click "Confirm and Continue."

If you need to make changes to something that is view only. Please print out the student’s emergency card, available at the end of the process, mark any changes. Sign, date and send it to your student’s school site office staff.

 

 

 

6. Contacts: Please review the contacts listed.

  • If you would like to make a change to an individual contact’s phone number click on the pencil to the left of the name.
  • If you would like to add a contact: click on the "Add" button. (When adding a contact you must include, at minimum: Last name, first name, relationship and phone number.)
  • If any of these fields are missing the record will be removed.
  • If you would like to remove a contact: just remove the information in all of the available fields.

Please note: Parent email addresses cannot be updated during this process as they are linked to Aeries Portal access. If you need to make a change please contact your school site or email: aerieshelp@alamedaunified.org.

 

 

 

 

7. Medical History: To make changes click on the Change, Add, or Delete buttons, then click SAVE.

8. Documents: Please read each of the documents listed. Print and/or save any that you would like for future reference or that need to be submitted to you student’s school. To complete the step, you must also check the box to the right of each document link.

Please note: Documentation will be on the AUSD website for future reference.

 

 

 

9. Authorizations: please review all of the items listed and check accept/decline, yes/no, or whatever best applies to your student. Then click SAVE.

If *Response Required still appears, one or more items has not yet saved. Once all items have been completed, the red "Response Required" will disappear.

 

 

 

 

10. Final Data Confirmation: Here you have the option to print your student’s emergency card if you need to make any changes you were not able to do in Aeries. Then submit to your school office staff. Click "Finish and Submit," and you are done!

 

Please Note: By clicking the "Finish and Submit," you agree that all of the statements made on the Data Confirmation form are true and correct to the best of your knowledge and that the undersigned and the student reside at the stated address and live there on a full-time basis.
