Aeries Family Portal


AUSD uses a system called "Aeries" for a wide variety of purposes, including enrollment, back-to-school registration, student records, and keeping track of daily attendance.  The Aeries Family Portal allows parents/guardians and students to access test scores, grades, report cards, standardized test results, class schedules, teacher assignments, and attendance logs.

What is the website address to access the Aeries Family Portal?

You can find links to the portal on all of our schools’ websites, or you can click here to get to the portal. Please note: Chrome is the preferred browser. You may use any browser you like, but if you experience any issues please try another browser.

What information can I view on the Aeries Family Portal?

Parents/guardians have access to daily attendance records, state test scores, grades, report cards, transcripts, emergency contacts, and other records. Class schedules and teacher assignments will be available in the fall once data confirmation is completed and your student’s school has completed scheduling.  


Do I need an email address on file to access my Family Portal Account?

Yes, parents/guardians need a valid email address to access the portal. If you do not have one, several companies offer free, web-based email, including Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft. After you create your email account, you will need to stop by your student’s school site so the office staff can update your record.


When can I access the Aeries Family Portal?
You can access the portal anytime (as long as you have a student who is currently enrolled in AUSD).

  • If you are new to AUSD for the 2021-2022 school year and completed enrollment with our Student Services Department before August 2021, your portal account will be created the second week of August.
  • If you are new to AUSD and enroll after August 2021 for the 2021-22 school year, your account will be created soon after your enrollment appointment with Student Services.
  • If you want your student to attend an AUSD school but have not yet completed enrollment, please visit the District’s Enrollment web page to get started.


How do I create a Family Portal Account?

  • Parents/guardians who are new and have never accessed AUSD’s Aeries Family Portal: Aeries accounts are created automatically based on the email address provided to the District at the time of enrollment. An automated email from  will be sent to all primary contacts the second week of August (and then throughout the school year as new students are enrolled).
  • Parents/guardians who are not new to AUSD but cannot log into the Aeries Portal: Please try the “Forgot Password?” link on the Aeries Portal login page. If you still have issues accessing the Aeries Portal, email or contact your student’s school site.

I forgot my password. How do I get a new one?

On the main login page, there is a link called “Forgot Password?” Click on this link and submit the email address you use to log in. Follow the instructions, and you will receive an email with a temporary login.  If you do not receive the email within 10 to 20 minutes, be sure to check your spam/junk folder.

My child lives in two different households, and each parent retains educational rights. Will each parent have an Aeries Family Portal account?

Multiple parent/guardians may have an account if there are no restraining orders in place.

Do I need to setup an account for each of my children?
No, you only need one Aeries Family Portal account. Use that same account to access information for each of your students by using the “Change Student” dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the Aeries Family Portal to toggle between student records.

Do parents need to create a Family Portal account every year?

No, this is a one-time process. If you have another child that enters the District, you will be able to add that child to your existing account by providing the same email address for all of your students.  Please note, however, that you will still need to complete the Data Confirmation process via the Aeries Portal at the beginning of each school year.

How do I enter, change or update my student/family contact information?

Before the start of each school year, parents/guardians of both new and returning students are required to confirm their data  in the Aeries portal. This process gives parents/guardians a chance to update phone numbers and emergency contacts, acknowledge annual authorizations, and review the district’s policies. My email address has changed or will be changing. How do I change my parent portal account to my new email address?

Please stop by your student’s school site with proof of identity so the office staff can update your email address. You will receive an email from with instructions on the steps you need to take once the email has been changed. If you do not receive an email at your new address, please check your “junk” or “spam” email folders.

What should I do if I do not have Internet access?
You can access the Aeries Family Portal on your smart phone and/or you can download the Aeries Mobil App. If you do not have a cell phone and do not have access to the Internet at home, local library, or other location, your child’s school can also provide access to a school computer.  

Who do I contact with technical questions or for assistance?
