Cash in Lieu of Medical

Compensation in Lieu of Medical Benefits

Employees' that decline medical coverage and show proof of other medical coverage may receive a $305.00 per month ($3,660.00 annual) stipend.  This benefit is prorated for part-time employees' and it is a taxable benefit.

The open enrollment period is from September 12, 2016, through October 7, 2016.  If you make changes to your plans those changes become effective January 1, 2017.  CalPERS requires all medical changes are submitted by October 7, 2016 (Deadline)If you do not make any changes, your current coverage will continue as is

 DENTAL

There will not be any changes in the monthly premium for the Delta Dental PPO plan.  Any changes for dental will take effect January 1, 2017

VISION

There will not be any changes in the monthly premium for the VSP plan. Any changes for VSP will take effect January 1, 2017
